Diego Costa, the Spanish striker has been scoring goals in almost all of his Chelsea games since the start of the season including 9 goals in 7 Premier League matches. Diego Costa recently joined Chelsea from Atlético Madrid. Chelsea had to pay around 40 million euros to get him, but it has certainly paid of.

Diego Costa was born on the 7 of October 1988 in a city in Brazil called Lagarto, Sergipe. Diego Costa has been given Spanish citizenship after living so long in Spain. Because of this Diego Costa decided not to play international football with Brazil, but Spain. During the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, Diego Costa played for Spain and unfortunately didn’t manage to score a goal.

Diego Costa started his career in Real Valladolid in 2009. Real Valladolid is a club which plays in the Spanish Liga BBVA. After that he went to Atlético Madrid, another Spanish club, and stayed there four years. In his last year at Atlético, Diego Costa showed that he was a world class striker and that he could score against any team. Diego Costa managed to score against teams like Real Madrid, AC Milan and Chelsea. After a fantastic season Chelsea was interested in him and bought him for 40 million euros.

The striker from Spain has been shining since him came to Chelsea and has scored 9 goals in only 7 Premier League matches. He has really been a valuable player for Chelsea and as a Chelsea fan I really hope he keeps on scoring goals and playing fantastically.
